CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS High School Seniors – Teens may wear anything from casual everyday clothing to more a more formal suit or dress. Clothing choices should be simple with understated patterns so as not to detract from the person. Solid colors are preferred, but at least one fun and playful outfit is also recommended. Please feel free to bring several outfits as it will make for a well-rounded portrayal of your teen as they are right now. Personal items that can be used as props are also recommended. A musical instrument, sports equipment, or even a Letterman jacket are wonderful additions to the personalized photographic experience. Fashion/Glamour – Enjoy a fun, fashionable portrait session that is tailored to your needs. Kim has collaborated with local make-up artists, hair stylists and wardrobe specialists to provide a well-rounded creative look that fits within your specific desires. Since each session is unique, a pre-session consult will be required to plan out for portrait session. Maternity – Mom-to-be will be photographed in a variety of poses, including partial-nudity. Clothing that buttons down is preferred. Father and children are also welcome to participate in the photographic experience. Business Executives – Gentlemen are requested to wear a dress shirt, tie and sport jacket. Women are requested to wear a coordinated suit and understated, classic jewelry. Please feel free to bring a few changes in clothing. Sports – Come with your entire athletic outfit and any gear so that we can incorporate it into your session. Entertainers – Please arrive with your typical entertainment outfit on....whether you are a belly dancer, or a childrens entertainer, or even a member of a rock band, the outfit you choose speaks volumes to the world about who you are and what you do. Feel free to bring a musical instrument or other props that relate to your profession.
REVIEWING PROOFS Within a few days of your photo session, your proofs will be ready. At the time of your session, we will schedule your in-person viewing and ordering appointment. This appointment is usually within 7-10 days of your portrait session and all persons who will be ordering prints should plan to be in attendance. We may meet either in your home or here at the studio - the choice is yours. Please plan to spend about 1 hour at this meeting. For each image you select to have printed, you will also receive a complimentary low-resolution, watermarked version for sharing on social networking communities. Due to the custom nature of print orders, a deposit of 50% is required at the time the order is placed and the remainder is due within 3 days. Prints will be available for pick-up within 10-14 days of the order being placed, unless otherwise stated. Certain products simply take longer at the lab and may take upwards of 4-6 weeks for delivery. Payment plans are available for orders over $300. High-resolution digital images on disc with print reproduction release are available starting at $100 per image with a minimum purchase of 3 images (unless purchasing a package). If you purchase 5 or more high-resolution digital images, please inquire about a custom disc and disc folder. Payment for digital images must be paid in full prior to delivery of the images on disc. All ordered portraits are retained on disc for one year. Unordered proofs are immediately purged. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but will be honored at the time of booking. If you do not order at your in-person ordering session, your retainer balance will remain on account until the end of the fiscal year. Orders not placed before December 31st of any given year are subject to loss of any retainer balance.
PORTRAIT RETOUCHING Touch ups can be done to remove blemishes, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles or general unwanted lines seen around the eyes, mouth, neck, etc. Extensive retouching will not be done on the proofs, although a sample may be done just to give you an idea of what to expect. Light touch ups are automatically included at no additional charge. More intense retouching rates will be based on the specific requests starting at a one time fee of $25 per image ($5 extra per person if a group portrait).
CANCELLATION POLICY Please provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation and I will be more than happy to apply your retainer to another date and time. Less than 24 hours notice will result in the loss of your retainer as there could have been another session reserved during that time slot. I do realize that occasionally there will be things outside your control that could unexpectedly occur, such as a death in the family. In this situation, please give me as much notice as possible so that I can try to find another client to take your session date. |
